Starting from Faliro and reaching Cape Sounio, you will come across rocky bays, turquoise waters, as well as cafe-bars and restaurants, situated on the beautiful organised beaches, throughout the coastline, offering docks for a spontaneous lunch or early dinner stop. You will end up at the southern part of the Athenian Riviera, admiring one of the most impressive and important sights of Athens, the Temple of Poseidon. For the ultimate experience, a passage through Fleves and Arsida is necessary. These are 2 uninhabited rocky islands close to the Athenian coastline featured by secluded and virgin beaches. Accessibility only by boat is what make them unique and special.

You will start your journey from Marina Kalamakiou or Agios Kosmas.

You head to the south of the Athenian Riviera, passing by a lot of small and bigger beaches with crystal clear waters, cliffs and rocky bays. In no more than half an hour you will approach Cape Sounio. Optionally, you can disembark right below the temple of Poseidon and take the short path in order to reach the main entrance of the sight.

By following the coastline to the north, you will come across various spots to stop for a swim. You can also take advantage of the private docks that the nearby beach restaurants offer and “jump in” for a lunch with view!

If you choose to visit Fleves and Arsida, you will experience the perfect sandy beaches and the amazing blue waters, accessible only by boat.
