Saronic Gulf

Saronic Gulf is the closest gulf to the capital. It is located at the northwestern side of Piraues Port, which makes it the perfect getaway if you are staying or passing by Athens. Aegina, Agistri and Poros are the three picturesque islands that travellers can admire, while sailing in the Saronic Gulf. A little further south are Hydra and Spetses, two of the most cosmopolitan islands, which a lot of jet-setters choose for their vacation. Poros is the nearest one, since it is reachable within only an hour. Nevertheless, 2,5 hours is the maximum sailing time to reach the rest of the islands. Huge history, culture and beauty coexist harmoniously in all above destinations. Aegina (suggested for half day cruise)

Starting point is Marina Kalamakiou or Agios Kosmas.After 45 minutes, we reach the port of Aegina. Optional walking tour in the picturesque and traditional streets and alleys of the city that definitely worth the try.Within 5-10 minutes, we approach the islet of Moni. Wonderful blue waters to dive in and a secluded beach to rest and enjoy the silence and privacy of the place. In case you are in the mood for something noisy, the islet hosts a small beach bar in a small bay nearby. 

For a delicious lunch and only after 5 minutes, we reach again the island of Aegina and especially the village of Perdika. Top recommended and well known for its “tavernas”, which offer amazing traditional Greek delicacies and of course fresh fish.Time to return and there is nothing better than the view of a golden sunset on the way back.

Hydra-Spetses (suggested for all day cruise)

Your cruise starts from Marina Kalamakiou or Agios Kosmas.You head to the south and after 1 hour and a half, you will approach the picturesque port of Hydra. Genuine and virgin beauty that will fascinate you. Motorised vehicles are not permitted, something that gives you the sense that time has stopped.Leaving Hydra and cruising nearby its coasts between Hydra and Dokos, offers some of the most beautiful views.Next destination is one of the hidden paradises for a stop to swim and admire the marvellous natural beauty for as much as you prefer.Afterwards you head to Spetses, the gem of the Argolic bay and a place full of history. Like Hydra, Spetses is also motorised vehicles free and gives the opportunity to turn back time and explore it on a horse carriage.One of the secret paradises of Spetses, Zogeria beach, is also top recommended for diving in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the virgin beauty.What’s more ideal than the sunset time on board and all those fabulous sky colours on the way back!
